Road markings need to be robust and durable but this can make their removal difficult. With hydroblasting, highway lines - whether thermoplastic or painted - are removed quickly and efficiently, without damaging the surface or substructure.
For cutting concrete, hydroblasting is an efficient alternative to traditional methods such as jackhammers and large-wheel saws. The technology allows concrete of almost any thickness to be cut through cleanly and quickly, with no damage to steel reinforcements and minimal dust.
The traditional method of anti-fouling - using the sandblast technique - is increasingly being replaced by hydroblasting as the preferred solution and with complete control, water pressure can be adjusted to suit precisely the number of coating layers that require removal.

By removing the rubber deposits, hydroblasting restores the inherent skid resistance properties of asphalt or concrete runways, without affecting runway markings, drainage grooves or lighting systems.
Even large areas of high-friction (anti-skid) surfacing can be removed quickly and easily with hydroblast equipment. Hydroblasting will remove it in a single pass without causing damage to the surface below.
TJ Hydroblasting offers an emergency response service to remove such spillages at incident sites. Fast and effective cleaning of the carriageway allows the road to be re-opened safely to vehicles as soon as possible.
Hydroblasting is a technique that uses ultra-high pressure water jets to tackle the most demanding removal of road markings or paint and surface-cleaning tasks. TJ Hydroblasting are experts in this technology, achieving excellent results for both commercial and domestic clients across the UK. However great the challenge and whatever size the job, we're here to help.
